With the ever-growing number of people working and traveling abroad, accidents can and will happen. More people than ever are now having accidents abroad. Holidays should be enjoyable but unfortunately accidents and illness can often ruin a holiday that has been saved for and planned for a long time. In the past claiming compensation for accidents that have happened abroad has been difficult, time consuming and complicated. Most claims abroad are subject to the law of the country where the accident happened. As a result, the right to compensation and the value of any claim may be different from at home in the UK. It may also be difficult to get the evidence you need if your accident happened thousands of miles away.
