Package Holidays
It is normally easier to claim compensation if your accident or injury happened on a holiday booked as part of a package tour. But recent changes in UK and European Law mean that it is now much easier to make compensation claims for accidents abroad. Tour operators have a duty of care to their customers to make sure that their accommodation is safe and hygienic and that they are not exposed to the risk of injury, disease or infection. When this duty of care is broken, any customer suffering injury, distress, loss or damage may be able to make a claim against their tour operator in the UK. Not all holidays are part of a "package." Anyone that has organised their own holiday or trip may be able to make a claim if they have been injured in an accident or suffered in some other way, but a claim would probably be subject to the law of that country and would have to be made there. We may be able to help you if this is the case.
